NAME

  cpqthresh_mib - Tru64 UNIX SNMP subagent daemon that supports thresholding


SYNOPSIS

  /usr/sbin/cpqthresh_mib


DESCRIPTION

  The cpqthresh_mib daemon is the subagent that provides SNMP data about
  user-defined threshold information to HP Insight Manager. A threshold is a
  limit you can set for a monitored item to produce an alarm if the limit is
  reached or exceeded.

  The cpqthresh_mib daemon periodically checks the monitored item. When that
  item crosses beyond the defined threshold, the daemon sends an alarm, or
  trap.

  The /sbin/init.d/insightd script automatically starts and stops the
  cpqthresh_mib daemon.


FILES

  /usr/sbin/cpqthresh_mib
      The shell script that starts and stops the cpqthresh_mib daemon.

  /usr/share/sysman/cpqthreshold.mib
      The threshold definition file.
